{Boise, Idaho, April 1, 2024} Intermountain Medical Imaging is ensuring access to affordable imaging services continues for patients in the Treasure Valley by purchasing Saltzer Health Imaging, located at Ten Mile Clinic in Meridian.
The Treasure Valley community is growing rapidly, and so are its healthcare needs. Access to affordable outpatient medical imaging remains critical. That’s why this acquisition by Intermountain Medical Imaging is so important.
“Medical imaging is an integral part of modern medicine. Losing access due to an imaging center closure could have a direct impact on our community and possibly delay patient care” said Wayne Baldwin, CEO of Intermountain Medical Imaging. “We are very pleased to ensure that imaging services at Ten Mile Road will continue to be available to the community.”
With the purchase of these imaging services, Intermountain Medical Imaging also commits to offering positions to several current Saltzer Health imaging center employees who have been integral in the day-to-day operations and expects to offer more jobs in future.
